Italy striker Graziano Pelle has reportedly joined the top 10 highest earners in football after signing for Chinese side Shandong Luneng – find football's best paid players here.

Pelle, who was part of Italy's 2016 European Championship squad and scored two goals in the tournament, left Southampton after netting 30 times in 81 appearances for the Saints.
The 30-year-old joined the Chinese Super League side for a fee believed to be about €15 million (R239 million), as confirmed by Shandong Luneng on Monday.

The striker signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Chinese side, who are coached by former Bayern Munich boss Felix Magath.
According to Gazetta dello Sport, Pelle will earn a whopping €16 million (R255 million) a year in China, which makes him the sixth highest paid footballer in the world.
