Juventus Want Chelsea Star As Pogba Replacement
Serie A giants Juventus are looking at midfielder Nemanja Matic as a potential replacement for France superstar Paul Pogba. The Bianconeri are preparing themselves in case they lose their prized asset for a world record fee, while Chelsea, who have sold Matic before and have already brought in N'Golo Kante, may allow the Serbian to leave again.
Higuain snubs Arsenal for Juventus
Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly passed a medical at Juventus after the Serie A champions agreed to match the player's £78 million (R1.5 billion) buyout clause in his contract with Napoli. The striker scored 36 goals in 35 league matches for Napoli last season.
Liverpool to sell Wales midfielder to Stoke City
Premier League side Liverpool are ready to part ways with Welsh midfielder Joe Allen. It is believed the Merseyside club has accepted a £13.5 million (R254 million) bid from Stoke City for the 2016 European Championship star. Allen had an excellent Euro campaign with Wales, and was even named in the official team of the tournament.
