Manchester United showed interest in four Los Blancos stars during the transfer window, according to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

The relationship between the Spanish giants and United has gone sour after David De Gea's deadline-day deal fell through.
It is yet to be seen how the De Gea fiasco will influence future deals between the two clubs, but Perez has now confirmed United had their eyes on a few of his players.
"We know that United showed interest in (Gareth) Bale, (Karim) Benzema and (Raphael) Varane," Real's president told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser.
"I never saw Sergio Ramos leaving this club.
"He was never close to doing so. Manchester United meddled in the situation
"Those who want to do harm to Real Madrid meddle but nothing really happened, nothing more than happens every summer."
