Eden Hazard – Chelsea
The Belgian has been a shadow of the star he was last season for the Blues, having only contributed to 10 goals in all competitions during this campaign. Hazard recently admitted it would be difficult to turn down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain, while Real Madrid are also reportedly monitoring the star's situation. Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is said to be a big admirer of the winger, and if Chelsea fail to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League, an exit for Hazard may become reality.
John Stones – Everton
The young defender has become a popular Premier League player over the past two years, showing great maturity in the heart of Everton's defence. Chelsea tried to snap up the 21-year-old last season, and he has become a reported target of FC Barcelona's. Blaugrana defender Gerard Pique even named the player in his world XI, which is high praise coming from a FIFA World Cup winner.
Wayne Rooney – Manchester United
The Englishman has been linked with a shock transfer to China lately, with the striker's former national team boss Sven-Goran Eriksson, who coaches Guangzhou Evergrande, admitting he would love having Rooney in the Chinese Super League. We have seen many big stars make the move to the Asian country recently, and given the money they are offering players, Rooney could be tempted.
John Terry – Chelsea
The Blues captain has admitted he will be leaving the club at the end of the season if he isn't offered a new contract. Like Rooney, Terry has also been linked with a move to China, while there has also been talk of the centre back joining the likes of Kaka and Frank Lampard in the MLS. Terry has been a great leader for the Blues, but this could be his last season in England.
David de Gea – Manchester United
The goalkeeper was seconds away from signing for Real at the start of the campaign, and although the move did not happen, the Spanish giants are said to still be keen on the Red Devils man. De Gea was born in Madrid, and has family and his girlfriend living in the Spanish capital. He may have signed a five-year deal with United shortly after his failed move to Los Blancos, but contracts don't seem to mean much in modern-day football, especially if a massive transfer bid is made.
