Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been criticised for failing to sign a striker thus far, but recent reports suggest Arsenal are in talks with PSG's Edinson Cavani and Adrien Rabiot.
Wenger was reportedly only interested in Real Madrid's Karim Benzema, but the forward and his agent denied all claims of a Los Blancos exit.
Cavani has been linked with several top sides in England's top flight this summer, and being such a high-profile attacker, a move at this time looks unlikely, according to the Daily Mail.
In Rabiot's case, the Gunners have reportedly sent scouts to watch him play in the previous campaign, and despite his red card in PSG's first game of the season, they have been impressed by the midfielder's performances.
Wenger has only made one "big" signing so far this season, former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, and with the English transfer deadline closing on Tuesday evening, more deals could be on the cards.

Cavani has scored 59 goals in 100 matches for PSG, while Rabiot has made 79 appearances for the side, scoring seven goals from midfield.
