FC Augsburg have confirmed that Ghanaian defender, Abdul Rahman Baba, has joined English Premier League champions, Chelsea.

The Bundesliga outfit confirmed the transfer soon after the Chelsea's loss to Manchester City, however they have not disclosed the details of the transfer.
Baba made 31 appearances for Augsburg in the 2014/2015, since making the move from second division side, Greuther Fürth.
Augsburg managing director, Stefan Reuter, admits he is pleased to see a big side like Chelsea signing one of their players and wished the Ghanaian well.
"Baba Rahman has in the more developed a year with us tremendously and made a great leap. It's not just an award for his achievements, but also for our work, if an international giants like Chelsea are interested in signing shows, "Reuter told the club's official website.
"We wish him well in England all the best for his developing this continues. "
