The PSG star was Player of the Tournament in 2014 when Argentina lost to Germany in the final, before they were eliminated by France in the round of 16 four years ago in Russia.
The current Argentina side come into the tournament as one of the favourites, especially after winning the Copa America while they are also unbeaten in their last 34 matches.
"At the 2014 World Cup, we performed very well. It was an unforgettable experience. I enjoyed it a lot and where it became clear to me more than ever that the main and most important thing is to be a strong and united group," the PSG star told Ole.
"That ultimately leads you to the important goal. Today I feel a lot of similarities between this group and the one from 2014."
La Albiceleste begin their World Cup campaign against Saudi Arabia, before they take on Mexico and Poland in Group C.
