Angel Di Maria, Lautaro Martinez and Paulo Dybala have all been selected in Argentina's side for the tournament, but will be without the injured Giovani Lo Celso, who had become an important player for Scaloni since his appointment in 2018.
Benfica's talented midfielder Enzo Rodriguez has also been included, as has Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez, who made his senior international debut just last year.
Tottenham Hotspur's Cristian Romero, meanwhile, will be among Scaloni's options in defence, while Copa hero Emi Martinez is likely to be first-choice goalkeeper following his impressive rise since his departure from Arsenal in 2020.
Argentina will enter the competition considered among the favourites to claim the title, having gone on a remarkable 35-game unbeaten run.
