Despite being 36 years old now, the legendary forward is currently leading the race for the Pichichi trophy (LALIGA's Golden Boot) and that is, in part, due to his teenage teammate.
Lamine Yamal has assisted two out of the seven league goals Lewandowski has scored so far this season. As a consequence, similar to his Polish colleague, the Barcelona native is also top of the standing for a major statistic, namely assists, of which he currently has five.
It is a continuation of the theme that was pertinent during the 2024 UEFA European Championship, when he was also the top assist-getter as Spain collected their fourth EURO title.
Lewandowski has now hailed the youngster as the best winger in the world, but also warned him about the potential pitfalls in what is already shaping up to be an illustrious career.

"When I see the next generation, they have a huge challenge, from them, in the social media. One day, you are the hero, but the next day, you are on the ground.
