Spanish publication Sport claims the Italian tactician is growing increasingly tired of the Brazilian's on-field outbursts towards match officials.
The 24-year-old was shown a yellow card in their 3-2 win over Deportivo Alaves earlier this week, his third for dissent this season.
Vinicius showed his anger towards the referee after believing he was fouled, which comes after Ancelotti reportedly held discussions with him over his temperament and the trouble it causes him.
The 65-year-old is said to be at his wits' end when it comes to the Brazil international's protests, having placed great importance on discipline and professionalism.
Nine yellow cards for dissent have been handed out to Real players so far this term, which has become a real cause for concern at the Spanish giants.
Speaking after their narrow victory over Alaves, Ancelotti insisted his squad needs to adapt to the league's strict stance.
"Regulation has changed and we have to get used to this," he said.
