FC Barcelona have confirmed their five captains for the 2024/25 season following the departure of a couple first team stars.
The Catalan giants recently bid farewell to club captain Sergi Roberto, who left the club on a free transfer.
As a result, Marc Andre ter Stegen has been voted by players as the new club captain for the 2024/25 campaign.

Ter Stegen was the second captain to Roberto last season and has worn the armband on a few occasions over the last few years.
As voted by the players, Ronald Arauhjo and Frenkie de Jong becomes the second and third captain respectively, with both players moving up one ranking from last season.
Meanwhile, Raphinha and Pedri also named on the captain's list for the first time in fourth and fifth respectively.
For the second season in a row, there was no place for veteran striker Robert Lewandowski among the five captains.
