Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes and Vinicius Jr have kept their spot in the squad along with Endrick, who is yet to feature for Real Madrid this season.
There was no place in the squad for Raphinha, Casemiro, Antony, Gabriel Martinelli and Richarlison while joint all-time leading scorer Neymar remains out as he recovers from injury.
The five-time World Cup winners will be facing Ecuador on 7 September before tacking Paraguay four days later.
