Percy Tau Starts FA Cup Clash For Brighton & Hove Albion, Watch On Your Tv!

Percy Tau has been named in the starting XI of Brighton Hove Albion's FA Cup clash with Leicester City and you can watch the game on your television, even without DStv.

Brighton coach Graham Potter recalled Tau into the line-up after he was an unused substitute over the three Premier League games.

However, the Seagulls' boss has rung the changes and Tau will start his third match since returning from his loan to Brighton in January.

What's even better? You can watch the game on your tv in South Africa after the SABC struck a deal with the English FA in order to cover one of the oldest tournaments in world football live for the rest of this season.

The South African broadcaster's coverage kicked off with Manchester United's clash against West Ham United on Tuesday night, and continues with Brighton's tie against Leicester.

The SABC will cover more games going forward too, as pointed out in the statement below.

"SABC Sport is pleased to announce that, as part of its Free-to-Air (FTA) rights to the English FA Cup, it will broadcast four selected matches of the 5th round of the FA Cup, live on SABC 1 and SABC 3 from Tuesday 9 February until Thursday 11 February 2021.

"The matches will also be available on the TelkomOne platform, SABC Sport's DTT channel, as well as live streaming via sabcsportonline.co.za. The FA Cup is the world's greatest football club competition and SABC Sport will broadcast the four selected matches as follows:

  • Tuesday, 09th February – Manchester United vs West Ham United, live at 21h15 on SABC 3.
  • Wednesday, 10th February – Leicester City vs Brighton Hove Albion, live at 21h15 on SABC 3.
  • Wednesday, 10th February – Everton vs Tottenham Hotspurs, live at 22h00 on SABC 1.
  • Thursday, 11th February – Barnsley vs Chelsea, live at 21h30 on SABC 3.

"The SABC will also broadcast two quarter-final matches; the semi-final matches as well as the final match, live from Wembley Stadium on SABC 3. The dates for these matches will be announced in due course."

Tau has featured in both of his side's latest FA Cup matches, and started in the Seagulls' 2-1 win over Blackpool. He has also made two appearances in the Premier League to date.
