Ahead of the FA Cup final on Saturday, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has explained why he doesn't see David Luiz as a weak link in the Arsenal team.
The Blues will renew their London rivalry with Arsenal at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening, with both sides looking to end the season with a trophy.
It was Lampard who made the decision to sell Luiz before the start of the season, but the Chelsea manager insists he has a lot of respect for the Brazilian.
When asked if he sees Luiz as a possible weak link, Lampard was qouted as saying by Evening Standard," I certainly haven't. I have a real respect for David as a team-mate that I played with in the Champions League we won in 2012.
"The bond of that group was huge and David was a big personality and a top player within that.
"When I think about preparing for a game against Arsenal with David in the team, I know how good he can be and what an influence he will have on the team. I look at him that way."
