Everton 1-0 Ruzomberok

Wayne Rooney made his first official start on his return to Everton, as the Premier League outfit claimed a 1-0 win over Ruzomberok at Goodison Park.

It was Leighton Baines who grabbed the headlines on Thursday evening, as he scored the game's only goal in the 65th minute.

CS U Craiova 0-1 AC Milan

AC Milan bagged an important away goal, as they recorded a 1-0 win over Craiova on Thursday evening.

The game's only goal arrived just before the halftime break courtesy of a strike from new signing, Ricardo Rodriguez.

Bnei Yehuda 0-2 Zenit St Petersburg

Second-half goals from Domenico Criscito and Aleksandr Kokorin helped Zenit St Petersburg claim a 2-0 win over Bnei Yehuda in Israel.

Marseille 4-2 Oostende

Andile Jali lasted the full 90 minutes, as KV Oostende suffered  4-2 defeat at the hands of Marseille at the Stade Vélodrome.

Valere Germain starred for the hosts by bagging a hat-trick while Morgan Sanson also got on the score-sheet.

Oostende did manage to secure two away goals thanks to strikes from Knowledge Musona and Sébastien Siani.

Dinamo Bucaresti 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

May Mahlangu played the entire match for Dinamo Bucaresti, as they played out a 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao.

Aymeric Laporte opened the scoring for the visitors on 21 minutes before Rivaldinho leveled matters for Bucaresti in the 54th minute.
