Atletico Madrid secured their spot semi-finals of the competition, despite losing 1-0 to Sporting Lisbon in the second leg. Fredy Montero's headed home in the first half for the game's only goal in the second leg, but Los Rojiblancos progressed after winning 2-1 on aggregate.
Marseille 5-2 RB Leipzig (Marseille won 5-3 on agg. Marseille put in a superb display to claim a 5-2 win over RB Leipzig in the second leg at the Stade Vélodrome. Goals from Bouna Sarr, Florian Thauvin, Hiroki Sakai, Dimitri Payet and an own goal from Stefan Ilsanker ensured the hosts' passage into the final four. Bruma and Jean-Kévin Augustin were on target for the Bundesliga outfit in the second leg.
Lazio came into the return fixture with a commanding 4-2 lead from the first leg, but the Austrian hit back with four goals of their own to win the tie 6-5 on aggregate. Moanes Dabour, Amadou Haidara, Hwang Hee-chan and Stefan Lainer were on target for Salzburg after Ciro Immobile put Lazio ahead after 55 minutes.
