The Red Devils were crowned champions of the Europa League in the previous campaign, seeing them secure immediate qualification into the group stages of this season's UEFA Champions League.
Three of the team's standout players in that campaign, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba, have now been announced as the nominees for the tournament's best player.
Ibrahimovic, who is now a free agent, scored five goals and assisted a further four strikes in nine UEL matches, while Mkhitaryan found the net on six occasions in his 11 games.
