Manchester United cruised into the next round of the Europa League after claiming a 4-0 aggregate victory over Saint-Etienne.
The Red Devils came into the clash with a healthy lead, after they ran out 3-0 winners in the first leg last week.
It only took 16 minutes for the visitors to take the lead on the night when Henrikh Mkhitaryan poked home from close range, after being picked out by Juan Mata.
United were then dealt a blow on 25 minutes when Mkhitaryan was forced with an injury. He was replaced by Marcus Rashford.
Sergio Romero was called upon after 40 minutes, as the United shot-stopper produced a good save to keep out Loic Perrin's glancing header.
The visitors saw a bit more of the ball as the second half got underway, although they struggled to carve out clear-cut openings.
However, United were then reduced to 10 men after the 62nd minute when Eric Bailly was given his marching orders after picking up a second yellow card.
Despite having the numerical advantage, St Etienne struggled to break down the Red Deivls in the closing stages and were often restricted long range effort.
Nonethless, the score remained 1-0 at the full-time whistle, as Jose Mourinho's charges claimed a 4-0 aggregate win to advance to the last 16.
