England's hero against the Netherlands in their 2024 UEFA European Championship semi-final has revealed the shock pre-match prediction he made.

It took a 90th minute strike from substitute Ollie Watkins for the Three Lions to book their place at a second successive EURO final.
The goal was assisted by a fellow substitute in Cole Palmer after the duo replaced Harry Kane and Phil Foden in the 81st minute.
After scoring the decisive goal, the Aston Villa striker revealed that he spoke to Palmer prior to the match and told him they were going to combine to find the back of the net in their final four clash against the Dutch.

"Unbelievable. I've been waiting for that moment for weeks, for weeks," Watkins said in a post-match press conference, as per ESPN.
"It's taken a lot of hard work to get to where I am today, and grateful that I got the opportunity and I've grabbed it with both hands and I'm delighted.
"I swear on my life. I said to Cole Palmer, 'We're coming on today and you're going to set me up,' and that's why I was so happy with Coley.
