We're officially at the business end of what is perhaps the most captivating end to a title race we have seen in the history of the Premier League. The Gunners, the Citizens and the Reds are currently separated by only one point, but with the finish line fast approaching, which of those sides have the easiest run-in?
Arsenal
The north Londoners' destiny is in their own hands as they are currently perched at the top of the log. Mikel Arteta's charges endured a tough festive period, but put to bed any concerns about their title credentials with their form in the new year. The 13-time English champions have won all of their eight EPL matches in 2024 with an aggregate score of 33-4, but if they are to end their two-decade wait for a league title, they will no doubt have to maintain that form as they appear to have the hardest remaining matches.
Their run starts this weekend with a visit to the Etihad Stadium to face their fellow rivals City. Their schedule also includes away trips to Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Brighton Hove Albion, as well as potential banana skins at home against Chelsea and Aston Villa.
Manchester City
In the case of the reigning champions, while their schedule may not be as challenging as that of their rivals from the English capital, there are some tough contests in their final run of matches in the league. Games against West Ham United, Fulham, Luton Town and Nottingham Forest are off-set by encounters with Arsenal, Villa, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Spurs, with the latter two usually providing a tough test for Pep Guardiola's charges. Their chase for a fourth successive league title isn't helped by recent injuries to England duo John Stones and Kyle Walker, who appear to be ruled out for an indefinite period of time currently.
One player the Citizens cannot afford to lose, however, is Rodri. The Spaniard is a vital cog in the City machinery and if they are to go on one of their famous unbeaten runs to end off the season, he will have to be fit and available. In all three of their losses in the top division this season, the 27-year-old was absent from the matchday squad.
Liverpool
While City found a new title rival in Arsenal last season, the Merseysiders have exceeded expectations in this campaign by returning to their usual position of championship contenders. Jurgen Klopp's men have been plagued by injuries, but that has not stopped them from being a force in the league. Outside of their defeat to Arteta's Gunners this season, they have hardly looked fallible in 2023/24 and will be liking their chances of clinching the EPL title given their remaining matches. Like City, they have to face Villa, Spurs, Wolves, Brighton, Fulham and West Ham.
Insert a match away at Manchester United in between those and there isn't much difference between their run-in and that of their blue Mancunian rivals. What would make it a bit more difficult for them is their injury issues. Goalkeeper Alisson is still out with an unknown return date, Trent Alexander-Arnold is nursing a knee injury, while Andrew Robertson hurt himself on international duty with Scotland this week. Mohamed Salah did return to action before the break, though, and hopefully for Liverpool fans, that is an omen for the rest of their key players, but it is clear is their squad has been stretched thin in this campaign.
Arsenal definitely have the hardest set of games to end off the season out of the three clubs, and with Liverpool's remaining opponents only having an average of 38.9 points, according to the league's official website, it would seem the Reds have the best run-in, but injuries remain a massive concern for them.

It is for that reason that City probably have the slight upper hand in the race for the Premier League title because while there might be some injury concerns for them too, they have the experience and quality of players that have navigated these situations on seemingly countless occasions before.
