Belgium international Romelu Lukaku was the best striker in the world when he played for Serie A champions Inter Milan, according to a former teammate.
Lukaku's return to the Premier League this season has not gone to plan, with the striker now falling down pecking order at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel.
The Belgian is the reigning Serie A Player of the Season but has only netted five Premier League goals this campaign and former Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan warned him not to make the move.
"I had told Lukaku that he was the best striker in the world at Inter. The team and the tactical system were shaped around him," Nainggolan told beIN Sports.
"He dreamt of making it at Chelsea, but it's the second time that he goes there and it always ends up in the same way.
"Had he stayed at Inter, he would have been the best striker in the world for four or five years and I keep telling him this."
