Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is believed to be on the verge of leaving Old Trafford, and according to reports, manager Jose Mourinho has already identified his replacement.
Reports: Mourinho Tells Two Stars They Can Leave Man Utd
The England international, who is in the final year of his contract, looks set to be sold by the former Chelsea manager after months of disappointing performances at the club.
According to The Sun, the Red Devils have identified 27-year-old Juventus wing-back Alex Sandro as the perfect replacement for out-of-favour Shaw.
The Portuguese tactician has reportedly also been keeping a close eye on Tottenham Hotspur's Danny Rose and even Celtic starlet Kieran Tierney.
Mourinho said in a recent interview that he did think a team is truly a team without a Brazilian in the squad.
"I think that a team without a Brazilian isn't a team," Mourinho told Men magazine.
"But also, a squad with three or four Brazilian athletes, depending on their profile, cannot make a great team too. I'm kidding!
"I think their talent is fantastic and the creativity of the Brazilian player cannot be measured.
"If a European team, like, very European, could have a Brazilian in their squad, it would bring a 'Brazilian thing' to the game, and I think that's very important."
