Report: Haaland Makes Transfer Request To Bellingham

In light of the growing speculation surrounding Jude Bellingham's future, it has now been claimed that Erling Haaland has made a transfer request to the Englishman.

Report: PSG Set To Sign Inter Milan Star In January

The rumour mill has been in overdrive in recent weeks as it pertains to one of England's hottest prospects in Bellingham.

The Englishman's stock has risen considerably following his decision to continue his development at Borussia Dortmund after leaving Birmingham City in 2020.

It was at Signal Iduna Park where the 19-year-old linked up with another prominent youngster of world football in Haaland.

The England international formed a good relationship with the Scandinavian marksman on and off the pitch, but their time together would be short-lived as, after two years of sharing the same dressing room, the 22-year-old striker traded the Bundesliga for the Premier League when he signed a five-year deal with Manchester City in the past transfer window.

According to the Daily Mirror, Haaland wants Bellingham to do the same, with the EPL's current top goalscorer said to have asked Dortmund's star man to also make the move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Citizens were one of a number of elite English sides that tried to prise Bellingham away from Birmingham City as a 17-year-old, but the explosive midfielder instead opted to maximise his development in a foreign league.

Now it is becoming increasingly likely the Stourbridge native will leave the German giants at the end of this season.

The box-to-box midfielder will not be short of suitors when the time to leave Dortmund comes, with Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Real Madrid all said to be vying for Bellingham's signature.

Man Utd's First Signing For Next Season Already Lined Up?

BVB are also said to be keen to extend his contract once again, but will reportedly not stand in his way should their £130 million (R2.5 billion) valuation be met.
