New signing Alexis Mac Allister was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on his debut Anfield debut, which prompted Klopp throw on new signing Endo and sacrifice.
Despite being down to ten men, Liverpool managed to bag a third goal in the 62nd minute when Diogo Jota added his name to the score-sheet with a neat finish at the far post.
Bournemouth did go in search of a late second goal with their numerical advantage, but the Reds held out well defensively to claim their first three-point haul of the season.
