Official: Manchester United Confirm Sancho's Jersey Number

Manchester United have confirmed Jadon Sancho's number for the upcoming season after he was finally unveiled on Friday afternoon.

The Red Devils unveiled the England international a couple weeks after agreeing the €85 million deal with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.

Many expected the 21-year-old to wear the famous number seven jersey given his position, but that number is currently held by Edinson Cavani who impressed last season.

The Red Devils have now confirmed the Sancho will wear don the number 25 jersey for the 2021/2022 campaign.

The number is not as glamorous as the others, although the likes of Quinton Fortune, Antonio Valencia and Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo who left the club in January.

Sancho impressed during his final season with Dortmund after registering 16 goals and 20 assists across all competitions.
