The Citizens have brought back the black and red colourway for the first time since the 2011/12 season, when they first won the EPL title.
PUMA have incorporated the colours once again in order to pay tribute to one of the most successful eras in the club's history. The red and black stripes were made famous by the team during the late 1960s and early 1970s, when they won the FA Cup, the League Cup as well as the European Cup Winner's Cup.

City will debut the new away kit on 20 July, during their pre-season tour match against Club America.
"It's fantastic that the club and PUMA have been able to work together to reinvent a classic and iconic shirt design from an important era of the club's history," club ambassador Mike Summerbee said of the new kit, as per City's official website.
"I hope it brings a sense of nostalgia and pride to our fans around the world, in the same way it has for me.
"I'll be looking forward to seeing the shirt in action during our preseason fixture against Club America, and hope our fans in the US and those watching around the world are too."
