The ex-Ajax Amsterdam man leaves Bayern Munich on a permanent transfer just one year after joining the Bavarians, committing to a five-year stay at Anfield.
Rumours had initially claimed Gravenberch was set to leave the Bundesliga champions on loan, while Manchester United had also enquired about his availability.
The midfielder played just 937 minutes for Bayern last season, and departs having made just a single appearance in this campaign.
