The 25-year-old completed his £100 million (R2 billion) move to the Premier League champions from Aston Villa on Thursday night, with reports suggesting he will immediately become one of the team's highest-paid players.
According to City Xtra, Grealish will be paid £200 000 (R4 million) a week under Pep Guardiola's management, which is reportedly more than the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva earn.
The England international is reportedly set to be used in a midfield role at the Citizens, with Guardiola said to view Grealish as a No. 8 that is involved in build-up play. At Villa, he was most often used in a wide playmaking role from the left, although he did sometimes feature in central midfield and at No. 10.
