Man Utd Suffer Back-To-Back Home Losses, City Lose First Clash

Manchester United 0-1 Crystal Palace

Manchester United suffered back-to-back defeats at Old Trafford after going down 1-0 to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund returned to the Red Devils line-up after dropping to the bench earlier this week.

The Eagles took the lead in the 25th minute when Joachim Anderson found the back of the net with a delightful strike.

Erik ten Hag's charges threw everything forward in search of an equalising, but the visitors defended deeply to held on for the win.

Bournemouth 4-0 Arsenal

Arsenal were in a rampant mood after thrashing Bournemouth 4-0 at the Vitality Stadium.

The Gunners found the breakthrough after 17 minutes when a well-worked move ended with Bukayo Saka nodding home from close range, before Martin Odegaard doubled the lead from the penalty spot.

The Gunners received a second penalty eight minutes after the break, although Kai Havertz was given the responsibility and slotted home, before Ben White sealed the win in stoppage time with a glancing header.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Manchester City

Manchester City's perfect start to the season came to an end after losing 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Wolves took a surprising lead after just 13 minutes courtesy of an own goal from Ruben Dias, who was trying to clear Pedro Neto's cross.

After waves of attack, Julian Alvarez pulled the Citizens level just before the hour mark for his fourth goal of the campaign.

The home side had the final say as Hwang Hee-Chan got his side back ahead in the 66th minute with his second goal of the season.

Everton 1-2 Luton Town 

Luton Town secured their first-ever Premier League win after defeating Everton 2-1 at Goodison Park.

The visitors enjoyed an impressive opening spell as captain Tom Lockyer opened the scoring in the 24 minutes, before top scorer Carlton Morris doubled the lead seven minutes later.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin pulled one back for the Toffees before the break, but Luton defended superbly in the second half to seal maximum points.

Newcastle United 2-0 Burnley

Newcastle United made it three wins in a row after defeating winless Burnley 2-0 at St Jame's Park.

Miguel Almiron put the visitors ahead after 14 minutes, before Aleksander Isak got the second goal from the penalty spot in the 76th minute.

West Ham United 2-0 Sheffield United

West Ham United returned to winning ways in the league after defeating Sheffield United 2-0 at the London Stadium.

The Hammers broke the deadlock in the 24th minute when the in-form Jarrod Bowen found the back of they on 24 minutes, before Tomas Soucek doubled the in the 37th minute.
