The linesman who has been suspended for an apparent elbow on a Liverpool player this past weekend has broken his silence.
Check Out: Action Taken After Linesman 'Elbows' Liverpool Star
During the Reds' 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday evening, left-back Andy Robertson seemed to take an elbow to the face from linesman Constantine Hatzidakis.
The fullback appeared to be complaining to the assistant referee after the half-time whistle before Hatzidakis' raised right arm caught him on the chin.
Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) later released a statement to say that the match official would be sidelined while the English FA investigates the matter.
It has been suggested that Hatzidakis could face a permanent suspension for his action, although some have claimed the 38-year-old accidentally connected with Robertson after attempting to shrug him off.
Speaking on Tuesday, according to the Daily Mail, the linesman told reporters outside his home that "whatever happens, happens. There is nothing more I can say at the moment. I can't talk about what happened".
Robertson, 29, was handed a yellow card following the incident.
