It seems Burnley's fans have not taken well to life back in the English top flight following their 3-1 loss to Aston Villa at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.
According to the BBC, as the Villans were making their way back to Birmingham, a brick was thrown at the team bus' windscreen at junction 10 of the M65.
The Clarets have since released a statement, in which they were "relieved to hear nobody was hurt in the incident".
"We strongly condemn this behaviour and will support Lancashire Police in their efforts to find whoever was responsible," the statement read.
The Superintendent of the Lancashire Police, Melita Worswick, added: "This incident occurred when a great deal of traffic was leaving the area following the football match between Burnley and Aston Villa.
"It is nothing but good fortune that the brick didn't cause more damage, or result in somebody being seriously injured or even killed."
