The North London outfit were desperate to bounce back after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City over the weekend.

With destined to end all square, up stepped Christian Eriksen to rifle home a low strike from 20-yards out in the 88th minute.

The win sees Spurs move up to fourth spot, while Brighton remain in 17th spot, three points above the drop zone.
