Los Blancos, who will go into the game with a six-point cushion on their bitter rivals, are unbeaten in their past 31 games in all competitions.
Real manager Zinedine Zidane has had to overcome injuries to his squad all season. First, superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was absent due to the injury he picked up during the UEFA European Championship final.
Later, Luka Modric and Casemiro left massive gaps in midfield, but somehow Zidane's side rallied on to become the only unbeaten team left in La Liga.
Gareth Bale (ankle injury), Toni Kroos (fractured foot) and Alvaro Morata (hamstring tear) are the latest on Real's treatment table, and all three will definitely miss the game.
Raphael Varane (undisclosed) is doubtful, while Fabio Coentrao (muscle injury) should return in time, according to AS.
Blaugrana boss Luis Enrique, meanwhile, has also been fighting with injuries all season, but his side were not able to prevent a dip in form, despite investing massively in the depth of their squad.
Midfielder Andres Iniesta's absence, in particular, could be felt in Barca's midfield. However, the Spaniard has returned to first team training and could perhaps even feature in the game, but he has not made an appearance since 29 October.

Jordi Alba (knee injury) and Samuel Umtiti (hamstring tear) are unlikely to recover in time, while Gerard Pique (ankle injury), Jeremy Mathieu (calf muscle injury) and Arda Turan (flu) could return to the squad.
