World Cup winner Rivaldo has hit out at Brazil's national team for not having a world class No.10 like Ronaldinho or Kaka on the field these days.
Brazil Star Urges Teammate To Leave EPL Club
The former Barcelona superstar won the Copa America back in 1999, where he finished top goalscorer in the competition and got named the player of the tournament.
After the Selecao struggled to create goal scoring opportunities against their South American opponents Ecuador on Saturday, an upset Rivaldo took to Instagram to hit out at his country's lack of No. 10.
"Yesterday I felt great sadness when watching Brazil's game and I saw that the No. 10 was on the substitutes' bench," Rivaldo said on Instagram.
"Before the shirt was a reference four national team. Though Neymar, our No. 10 is not in the Copa America, the 10 shirt remains with Lucas Lima, a great player, that only received an opportunity 40 minutes into the second half. In my opinion Lucas Lima or Ganso deserve more opportunities."
Brazil take on Peru in their second group game on Wednesday and they will be playing at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
