The Albiceleste booked their place in the final of the competition after they beat USA 4-0 at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The game was largely dominated by Argentina, with Gerardo Martino's side looking equally strong in defence and attack.
Before the second half began, a fan broke through security to make his way down to the field, running directly for his idol, Messi.
The supporter then had his shirt signed by Argentina's record goalscorer, before he removed his shirt to reveal the name of his Twitter account, otherwise known as a "Twitter handle".
