The 57-year-old, who has lost just two of his games in charge of the five-time FIFA World Cup winners, opted to call up 23 names instead of a preliminary squad ahead of the tournament in Brazil next month.
The Selecao will begin their Copa campaign against Bolivia on 14 June, before facing Venezuela four days later and wrapping up their group games against Peru on 22 June.
Brazil will hope to do better than they did in the 2017 edition of the tournament, when they were somewhat surprisingly knocked out in the group stage. However, with a host of talent to choose from, Tite once again had to make some tough decisions.
For example, Valencia goalkeeper Neto had another great campaign in LaLiga, helping his side qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League, but the coach once again selected Brazil-based Cassio ahead of him.
At the back, Real Madrid left-back Marcelo's omission was probably the biggest surprise. The 31-year-old was Brazil's first-choice left-back during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, but Tite has opted for Alex Sandro and Filipe Luis this time around.
Chelsea's David Luiz and Manchester City right-back Danilo are some other defenders who can feel hard done by the coach's snub, while the absence of Liverpool's Fabinho was perhaps the biggest headline after his stellar 2018/19 campaign. The 25-year-old also missed out on Tite's 2018 World Cup squad, and has represented his country only seven times so far.
In midfield, Paulinho probably gave up on his Brazil career when he returned to Guangzhou Evergrande, but he was a main pillar of Tite's squad at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Manchester United's Fred and Beijing Sinobo Guoan's Renato Augusto, who were both part of the Selecao's 2018 World Cup squad, join the former FC Barcelona midfielder on the sidelines.
Up front is where the coach has probably had to make the toughest decisions, with the tactician ultimately deciding to leave Real starlet Vinicius Junior, Juventus winger Douglas Costa and Tottenham Hotspur's Lucas Moura at home.
