Manager Lionel Scaloni has named Argentina's 32-man preliminary squad for the 2019 Copa America, and eight stars were snubbed, including their sixth-highest scorer in history.

Sergio Aguero has returned to the Albiceleste following a terrific campaign with Premier League winners Manchester City.
Captain Lionel Messi is in the frame ahead of the tournament in Brazil, while there was no place for Gonzalo Higuain, who is Argentina's sixth-highest scorer with 31 strikes in 75 matches.
Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero was also overlooked by Scaloni, as was West Ham United's Manuel Lanzini and Sevilla's Ever Banega.
