The 35-year-old striker, who netted four goals in five matches in the competition, saw his brace clinch the Red Devils their first piece of major silverware under their new manager Jose Mourinho.
The official team of the tournament was announced by the Football League before the final game of the competition and it sees players from Arsenal, Leeds United, Liverpool, Manchester United, Southampton and Accrington Stanley all make cut.
