Liverpool host Chelsea in a high-profile clash in the Carabao Cup tonight – here is how both teams will line up!
Carabao Cup
Teams: Liverpool vs Chelsea
Date: 26 September
Venue: Anfield
TIme: 20:45
The Reds started the Premier League season with six wins in their first six outings, while Chelsea dropped points for the first time against West Ham United on Sunday.
The two sides will now meet in the Carabao Cup tonight, and will hope to keep their unbeaten start to the 2018/19 campaign alive.
The Reds are unbeaten at home in 12 games across all competitions, with their last defeat at Anfield coming in January, when they lost 3-2 to West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup.
However, their recent home record against the Blues is not great, with Liverpool last beating Chelsea at home in 2012, while drawing five and losing twice since.
The Merseysiders are League Cup record holders, though, having won the trophy eight times, while the London club has claimed it five times.
