There appears to have been a fresh update on Sadio Mane's future at Bayern Munich.
Check Out: The Clubs Mane Has Been Linked With
The 31-year-old has endured a difficult first season in Germany following his arrival from Liverpool, made worse by an off-field scrap that seemed to confirm his future at the club.
Mane's punch on Leroy Sane in April looks to be the moment that Bayern lost patience with the Senegalese international, who has scored just 12 goals so far in this campaign.
Although he was punished for his actions, the Bavarians were reported to become open to the idea of selling him at the end of the season, and a new report claims little has changed.
According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Mane "remains a top candidate" to depart the Bundesliga giants as the club suspects he would not want to be considered a bench player going forward.
Furthermore, it has been suggested that it is likely he will return to the Premier League in the coming window due to his high salary.
