Timothy Fosu-Mensah is nearing a transfer to the Bundesliga side for a fee of around £1.5 million (R312 million), according to Manchester Everning News.
The right-back is seemingly not in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans, making only three starts in nearly four years.

Solskjaer confirmed on Friday that the 23-year-old would be allowed to leave in January.
"I'm not sure if he will stay or if he's going to take an option now," Solskjaer said.
"He's not played enough, so of course he's been allowed to speak to clubs with a view to leaving now in January."
