A TP Mazembe star has claimed that despite his team not possessing the same individual talent as sides such as Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly, they believe they can compete with them in the CAF Champions League.

This weekend, the Congolese giants will play against Ahly in the semi-finals of African club football's most prestigious prize.
It will be the first time the Ravens are involved in a final-four clash in the competition since the 2018/19 edition, and it will also be their first time playing in the knockout stages against the Red Devils.
Many would not have touted the five-time champions as contenders for this season's iteration of the tournament, but after becoming the first side to score against and beat Petro de Luanda in the Champions League, some are perhaps beginning to take notice of them.
Mazembe midfielder Augustine Oladapo believes they can now cause a massive upset against their more fancied semi-finalists Masandawana, the Club of the Century and the Blood and Gold, and win their first CAFCL title since 2015.
"The way we're going, we're believing that something good can come out of it," the 28-year-old told Football Live Nigeria.
"We don't have the best quality players like Sundowns, Al Ahly, Esperance. And in our group, we had Sundowns and the likes. We were able to come out because it was like a dream.

"And when we got to the quarter-final, people said we couldn't beat Petro, but we went there and we did it in their home. For me, I see the hand of God moving us. That's why I believe something can happen"
