This past weekend, the Cairo-based side took on Masandawana for the first time in their history when they travelled to Tshwane in Africa's premier club competition.
With that encounter having ended goalless, both teams are now level on four points in Group B, along with fellow competitors FC Nouadhibou and TP Mazembe.
After the game, Pyramids head coach Jaime Pacheco insisted his team could have won the game given the chances they created, and club CEO Mamdouh Eid seemingly shares the same sentiment.
Speaking to the club's media, as per Kooora, the Egyptian executive said the win eluded them because of some of their players' inability to capitalise on chances, stressing how important a win at Loftus Versfeld was.
The Egyptian executive stated that they only drew "due to the lack of success on the part of some players in exploiting dangerous attempts".
