Club continental action returns this midweek as the final group standings in the Champions League begin to take shape.
While there may be frontrunners in the other mini-leagues, that is not the case in Group A as Pyramids, Sundowns, Nouadhibou and TP Mazembe are all currently tied on four points.
The Egyptian side gave a good account of themselves in the previous matchweek when they left Loftus Versfeld with a hard-fought 0-0 draw, but their Portuguese head coach claims that when the two sides renew their rivalry on Tuesday evening at the 30 June Stadium, his side will be looking to take that one step further by winning.
"We will enter the match in order to win, which will give us the opportunity to continue the journey of competing for the two qualifying tickets for this group with full force," he said in a pre-match press conference, as per Kooora.
"The third-round match ended in a goalless draw in South Africa, and we played in an organised tactical manner and were the closest to winning against the African League champions. We also did not concede goals, which is a difficult thing to happen in the stronghold of Sundowns.
"Our goal is to achieve victory in tomorrow's match, and we will play with a clear plan and the many absences in our ranks will not distract us. I am a realistic coach and I do not want to look for excuses.
