Nigeria Coach: South Africa Are A Good Side But...

Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle has claimed that the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa is a must-win encounter.

The African giants are set to face Rwanda at home in their next game before a crucial tie away against table-toppers South Africa.

Chelle singled out the game against Bafana as a turning point for their World Cup hopes but insisted the focus was on Rwanda first.

Nigeria's remaining fixtures include away matches against Lesotho and home matches against Benin. Anything less than four wins could end their 2026 World Cup hopes.
