Rulani Mokwena has reportedly made a massive plea to the Wydad Athletic Club chiefs before he leaves the club at the end of the season.

Earlier this month, Mokwena’s agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, revealed that the South African tactician was poised to leave the Red Castle at the end of the season.
Results have not been going the 38-year-old’s way of late, as they have drawn their last five matches in the Botola Pro Inwi, relinquishing second place in the process—the final CAF Champions League qualification position—as well as suffering elimination in the Round of 16 of the Moroccan Throne Cup to Moghreb Tetouan.
Shortly after the latter result, news emerged that the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns boss had not been paid for the entire season by the Moroccan giants, and this seemingly caused a breakdown in what already appeared to be a fragile relationship.
Consequently, Kapeluschnik confirmed that this would be his client’s first and last campaign in Casablanca. However, according to Le Site Info Sports, the Johannesburg native has one final request before leaving the three-time African champions: to lead them to the FIFA Club World Cup.
The 38-year-old was in charge of Sundowns when they confirmed their place at the global spectacle, but left the club at the end of last season and now faces the prospect of narrowly missing out on leading a team to the United States of America.

The same report claims that Mokwena asked the club president, Hicham Aït Menna, to fulfil his dream of playing against his idol Pep Guardiola, his Manchester City side, Juventus, and Al Ain.
