A former Al Ahly star claims facing Esperance in the CAF Champions League final is easier than facing Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Red Devils advanced to a record fifth consecutive Champions League final after defeating TP Mazembe 3-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
Esperance, meanwhile, overcame Sundowns in their semi-final tie after securing 1-0 wins in both legs.

Hassan Mustafa, who won two Champions Leagues with Al Ahly, says Sundowns would have given Al Ahly a tougher game, given their previous encounters.
"Without a doubt, it will be a strong confrontation between two major teams on the African continent, but chances are in Al Ahly's favour, because it is the highest in level and experience," he said, per Kooora.
"Esperance is certainly easier, as Sundowns faced Al Ahly before and outperformed them on more than one occasion, and outperformed them in the African League.
"This matter would have represented an obstacle unlike facing Esperance."
Mustafa also opened up on the Tunisian giants' strengths ahead of the final.
"The most prominent feature of Esperance in the recent period is its great cohesion with its current coach," he added. "
In addition to the presence of players capable of making a difference, which was reflected in the team's recent results and their arrival in the final match.
