The Uruguayan playmaker has been the subject of much transfer speculation in recent weeks, with a move away from Chloorkop seemingly on the cards.
Earlier in the window, Soccer Laduma broke the news that the 32-year-old was unsettled amid the plethora of new arrivals making their way to the DStv Premiership champions, and consequently, the diminutive attacker has been linked with a move away from the club because of a perceived lack of game time.
Al Ahly, who have been classified as long-time admirers of the ex-Bolivar man, have been mooted as a possible destination for the Montevideo native, but news reaching our publication is that there are multiple clubs in Egypt that are keen to sign up the six-time Premier Soccer League champion.
The catch, however, is that they are only willing to lure the attacker to north Africa if his contract with Masandawana is terminated.
Sirino is rumoured to be among the highest earners at Downs, and given that he is still contracted with Ka Bo Yellow, paying a significant transfer fee coupled with adding his lucrative wages are factors that are said to be deterring suitors from placing an offer for the winger.
Sources also claim that the attacker is asking for $5 million (R92 million) over three years from his new club.

With Marcel Koller is in charge of Ahly and following the arrival of Reda Slim in Cairo, it remains unlikely that the reigning African champions will make such a hefty investment on an aging superstar, but while their interest may have diminished, Sirino still retains interest amongst other Egyptian sides.
