The 25-year-old arrived in South Africa a relatively unknown figure when he signed for the Glamour Boys at the beginning of the 2022/23 campaign.
While many did not know who he was in the early parts of his career with the Soweto giants, the attacker looked to endear himself to the Khosi faithful by scoring six goals in his opening six DSTV Premiership matches, including a hat-trick against Stellenbosch FC.
His form would, however, falter and he struggled with injuries, which would subsequently see him fall down the pecking order at Naturena. Ultimately, the club took the decision to terminate his contract.
The Burundi international may not be without a team for much longer, though, as Soccer Laduma can confirm that Egyptian Premier League outfit Al Masry are seriously interested in securing his services. The news comes days after his agent confirmed the interest from Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, to the publication.
Earlier in the transfer window, it was rumoured that his proposed move to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca had fallen through, but it now appears the lanky striker will finally get his move to north Africa.

A source close to the situation claims that the player is ready to make the move as the Egyptian side finally get their hands on a new striker, having also been linked with South African marksman Iqraam Rayners.
