Khanyisa Mayo's CR Belouizdad have officially parted ways with their head coach just three months after his appointment.

Last season, the Chababists saw their run of four successive league triumphs come to an end as MC Alger were crowned Ligue Professionnelle 1 champions for the first time in 14 years.
While Belouizdad were unable to continue their streak of consecutive title wins, they did finish second and also managed to win the Algerian Cup under the tutelage of Marcos Paqueta.
The Brazilian tactician would make way for Frenchman Corentin Martins ahead of the new 2024/25 campaign, but it has turned out to be an underwhelming tenure for the Brest native.
In the four league matches Martins took charge of for the north African outfit, they failed to win any, having drawn three and lost one to leave them languishing in 13th position.
The Algiers-based institution has thus decided to take the decision to fire the 55-year-old in an attempt stop any further regression.
An official statement released by the club reads: "Following a board meeting with Corentin Martins, we have mutually agreed to terminate his contract."
The slow start for Belouizdad this season has not helped Mayo's adaptation to life in Algeria.
The Umtata native completed a move believed to be worth €750 000 (R14 million) from Cape Town City to the 10-time Algerian champions in August, but having made five appearances for the club so far this season, the Bafana Bafana international is yet to find the back of the net in his new colours.

Mayo and Belouizdad will be hoping he can start scoring under whoever the new manager is as the club looks to climb back up the table.
